Below are a few beauty tips and tricks that will have you looking sleek and sassy in next to no time, and the best part is that you dont even need to invest in too much make-up.

The Most Important Thing To Remember

Do highlight your best features. Longoria, for example, shows off her legs, not her cleavage. If it’s your eyes, play them up. If you have full lips, show them off with a gloss. Don’t use a thick concealer, it will settle into fine lines highlighting your flaws and make you appear much older than you want people to assume you are.


The Face Base:

Using a liquid foundation apply it to the cheeks, nose forehead and chin (we recommend Max Factors "Miracle Touch") Then take a lightly dampened make-up sponge and buff it into the skin in an outwards motion, Then take a light and loose powder foundation and using a fluffy wool pad lightly dust the face. Make sure you dont overload it near the eyes or mouth.

Take a dry cloth and gently wipe the face to take off any excess powder. Next using a nice bronzing powder gently apply to the apples of the cheeks (temples to nose) and buff in in a circular motion, then apply to the narrow of the nose, and forehead (T-Zone) and lightly accross the outer jaw line. This gives a healthy, dewy and bronzed look thats very natural.

The Eyes:

Using a shimmery medium brown,apply with a brush not a sponge applicator, the sponge applicator will apply the colour to come out too dark. On the skin between your lid and brow use a sheer brown( do not put the shadow under the shaped part of your brow) Under the brow where it is shaped use a pearly or opal white shadow to highlight the brow. Use a Dark brown mascrara, just a little so it completes the look, and maybe a light brown eyeliner to define your eyes and give them a wide and fresh look.

The lips:

The lips are usually the first and main thing people notice, partly because its where conversation comes from, and partly because the lips are probably the most attractive feature on a womans face. Its best to keep your lips very natural looking using pastel colours in light browns, pearly pinks and nudes.

Do Not line the lips, this is not a desirable look and can actually make you appear older than you really are, its best to use a light pinky brown as a base coat, and apply a pearl pink just along the center of the lips (over the top of the base colour), pop the lips together and then apply a medium wet look Clear gloss to seal the clour in place. The light middle colour over the darker base enhances depth, width and volume to the lips without the need to use a lip liner.

The Hair:

If you have naturally dark hair, use a temporary 6 wash hair dye, these contain no harsh chemicals and wont damage the hair. Use a dye once a fortnight in a rich bronzed brown or golden brown to bring out your hairs natural highlights, this also adds depth and mega shine to your hair.

Wella & Nice & Easy do a great range of temporary colours for all hair colours, the dyes deeply condition your hair from root to tip adding much needed nourishment and shine. When washing your hair always end it with a Cold Water Rinse for atleast 60 seconds to seal the hair shaft and smooth cuticles. (a great way to stop split ends)

Style it:

Using Jumbo sized roller, wash your hair and dry until damp, brush the hair and placing the first roller take a chunk of hair about 2-3 inches wide (the roller should go on top of the hair and wind Clockwise up towards the root, the bigger the roller the better the curly volume will be. using these all over (roughly 6 to each side and 5 acrros the top and back)

Apply some mouse throught the hair and lightly spray with a non hard hairspray, blow dry on a gentle heat for about 5 minutes and then leave in for a further 20 mins, take out rollers, finger into position and your ready to go.

The Fabulous Finish:

Use a fine glitter mist and spray in to the air for about 4-5 seconds and then stand under the falling glitter looking up at the ceiling for a simply gorgeous shimmer. repaet agin this time looking forwards for it to add ultimate sparkle to you hair.

What would you guys do without me hey? I get to spend all of my money learning about beauty treatments and then you can get the best one to your suiting without the costs of experimenting.



So Today im doing my Bit About L'oreals new Line of skin care treatments in the DERMA GENESIS range. Now you may have seen the adverts fronted by a certain Ms Penelope Cruz, looking all gorgeous and fresh faced, but SHE is not an average person like you, nor as much as it pains for me to say....like me. I mean all the camo make-up, foundation, concealor, air brushing, we all buy in to it and They hope we buy in to it by the bank full.

Now, ok, so i bought into it all, and yes i bought it by the credit card load, infact i repeatedly bought it by the credit card load, simply because i was very pleased with the range on offer.

Fair enough it takes time before results are seen, an average of 2 months (or the 2nd bottle load) but the softening results are instant, it applies like silk, it dries fast and leaves a gorgeous sheen to the skin, the texture is light and the fraghrance adorable.

There are a few different types to this line, and if your like me and need a whole set to feel the effects will work then it can be a costly experiment, about 140 pounds worth of expensive a month, yikes! (That in mind, i do apply it thick)

Ok, so after trying just about every cream on the market i had near enough given up on any hope of discovering a miracle in a jar, This one really does work but there are reasons why i only gave it a 7/10.

1. It goes on feeling sticky and thick, you only need the tiniest amount and apply it directly to problem areas to be treated, but the gloopyness is kind of off putting.



2. If you apply more than you should you end up flaking all over the place, a bit like dandruft on your face.



3. you cant move your face for 7 minutes, not even squint, so you look totally stupid for those 7 minutes.



4. Its pretty expensive for the amount you get, the effects last no more than 24 hours, so its ideal if you only want a very quick fix.

But for those 4 small let downs this cream really makes up for it in the effect department, it took me a while to get used to using such a small amount of this on my skin, too much and it looks like your skin is falling off, not enough and it doesnt work.

The cream is CLINICLY PROVEN TO WORK, saying that, not everything works on everyone, but my nan also tried this and it helped shrink her pelican neck and knocked years off of her actual age, even my mum swears by it.

As a self confessed fan of athena it does not suprise me in the slightest that sian Lloyd has such remarkable skin, The uk's favourite weather girl swears by the product.

For someone at 49 years old she sure as hell has immaculate skin, smoothe, clear and line free, Sian has been using the cream for some time now and says she would never use anything else other than this to combat aging.

So the results can be amazing. (or she is just very good with selotape and make-up? lol.

My personal Favourite, restylane is a natural substance found in the human body and contains no animal dereratives so is completely safe to use.

I had the injections done around the eyes, forhead lines, nose to mouth and to plump the lips. The pain level on this one is a very mild stinging sensation, some mild bruising for about 24 hours, worth it, completely!

The results were instant, the lines completely gone, the best effects are seen about 48hours after the injections are done, giving the skin time to adjust properly, the slight bruising is easily covered with a touch of concealer or foundation.

Now at 24 years old i had managed to scrape back a few years of my skins youth, i had always been a fan of botox, and when combined with restylane the results are absolutely amazing.

The effects of the restylane lasted well over 12 months, the youngwer you are the better the results seem to last, plus combining it with botox really helps enhance its duration.

For the lips i used restylane Lipp, it gave me a natural pout, no trout pout in site, theres no swelling to report on, and it is moulded to the lip line shape to give that sultry sexy pout without it looking fake. completely kissable lips in seconds, and best of all it lasted about 11 months before i needed a top up.

So for anyone worried but wanting, restylane is my personal reccomendation, no side effects, no allergy risks, no swelling, just natural looking enhancements that will have everyone asking your secret to such youthful and beautiful skin.

So we have all heard about injectable fillers right, and we all know some work better than others, well over the last 4 years since my 21st birthday i have been using dermal fillers to fight aging, after all prevention is way better than cure, and i still get away with claiming to be 21, so yes im all for fillers and anti aging treatments.

So if your wondering which ones work the best, or which is best value for money read on.....

Beauty is one thing in life im good at, we cant all be blessed with the perfect jeans that gives us great skin, great looks and just plain greatness........well ok, maybe i was born with good jeans, lol, but i wanted to share my experiences with you guys to help you decide if you really need non invasive surgery and if you do want it/need it then im gonna let you know the ones i have tried and tested.

So here goes.

Year 2003- Month August.
Treatment: Botox
Areas: Forhead frown lines, crows feet, mouth lines.

I decided to treat myself to botox just before my 21st birthday, i wanted to look my best and did not want to be outshone, After doing a lot of research into the different injections i decided on botox, i had to have a consultation with a specialist and a sensitivity test, after the initial sensitivity test i then waited 28 days to ensure there were no reactions, and any good practice will advise you the same on this.

Now after the 28 Days i went back to the clinic to have the actual facial injections done, i was really worried it would hurt, but botox had an anesthetic in it that really seems to numb any pain, the injections took less than 30 minutes to do, and i was not left with any marjkings apart from a few red patches.

After the injections were done i didnt think it had worked, there didnt seem to be much difference, but over a period of a week the effects took hold and WOW, the fine lines i had dissapeared completely, i did find it strange not having hardly any upper facial movement, but its was so well worth it, everyone wanted to know how i had got my skin looking so great (not that i told, lol)

6 months later and the effects finally started to wear off, but my skin still looked great, and i was booking myself in for a top up of it.

My personal rating for botox is a fantastic 9/10 *

ADVICE:

For those wanting botox done its best to shop around, if somewhere is offering full face botox for less than 200GBP i should be very dubious, check out the practices certificates and ensure that they are registered, its not something to have done in a salon really, its always safer and better to use a well known practice with a good reputation, after all you get what you pay for.
